Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the end-to-end transactional processes related to Accounts Payable function, including procurement

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely record of expenses and liabilities into system

  • Perform monthly reconciliation of vendors statement of accounts against AP ledger Balance.

  • Perform invoice processing, ensure payment and payment forecast are made accurately and timely.

  • Continuing to improve the payment process

  • Responding to vendor enquiries regarding purchases

  • Track the status of purchase orders and maintain accurate purchase records.

  • Pay tax instalment to IRB as per agreed schedule.  Make withholding tax (WHT) declaration (Tax Report and Payment) on time in accordance with tax regulations.

  • Assist in annual audit and tax filing matters.

  • Any other tasks assigned from time to time.

Required Qualifications:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant working experience. Previous experience working in MNC or shared service functions would be advantageous.

  • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin.

  • Responsible, willing to learn and a good team player with positive attitude

  • Proficient in data entry and vendor management

  • Proficient with MS Office (Word & Excel)

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Microsoft AX) is an added advantage or any equivalent background
