Job Summary:
We are currently looking for a Network Solutions Architect to join our Enterprise Networking Presales Team. The primary focus for this role is provide pre-sales technical consultation and develop reliable solutions to answer customer requirement and win bids/tenders. The key function for this role is primarily in pre-sales, tenders and bids stage and requires the candidate to have knowledge in both Cisco and Aruba technology. Candidate must have the ability to conceptualize solution to customer and actively participate in the presale’s lifecycle including but not limited to developing bill of materials and generating proposals. Qualified candidate is expected to present to clients the proposed solution and explain technical details and value proposition of the proposed solution. This role presents itself with considerable learning opportunities on the state-of-the art networking technologies.
Accountabilities:
• Provide Technical Consulting support to Sales team for Cisco / Aruba networking solution
• Participating in requirement gathering to propose a suitable design that meet customer requirement
• Design a technically feasible solution to meet client requirement
• Participating in customer engagements and presales activities such as solutions meeting, presentation, RFP responses, BOM creation including professional services requirement.
• Conduct proof-of-concept to showcase proposed solution technical feasibility if required
• Proactively participate in maintaining internal knowledgebase sharing technical findings within the Team
The Individual and their Experience:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as network engineer.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as network presales.
• Possess at least one CCNP
• Familiar with Cisco catalyst, cisco nexus, routers, network monitoring, and Cisco wireless solution
• Familiar with Aruba CX switch solution and Aruba wireless solution
• Mandatory to have experience in designing campus networking.
• Familiar with use of automation tool and script such as python and ansible to conceptualize and create use cases is preferred
• Self-motivated, and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Ability to work independently within a fast-evolving technical environment
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Flexible in approach and able to adapt to new situations and issues
• Good team player and proactive attitude.
• Good knowledge with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Visio
• Team Player highly spirited, sharing presales experience with peers
• Able to learn and adopt new skills based on the relevant training provided
Added Advantage:
• Basic knowledge on security solution such as Firewall and NAC
• Preferably understand Cisco SDN solution
• Preferably understand F5 solution
• Preferably understand about MPLS network
• Understand how to propose a solution for data center is a plus.
