What You’ll Do:

The Role:

  • Project management delivery of agreed solutions for Logicalis customers.
  • The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of projects sold to customers, and to deliver them within agreed budget and scope.
  • Initiation and Planning – follow the PMO established documentation and process
  • Execution and Monitoring
  • Closure
  • Project Reporting
  • Project Management reporting, including but not limited to:
  • Financial forecasting and billing – Accurate revenue recognition completed at month end for all fixed price projects.
  • Resourcing
  • Timesheets – review and approval of timecards logged against a project within the PMs portfolio
  • Traffic light reporting and active management of ‘amber’ and ‘red’ projects
  • Escalate significant issues to National Practice Manager, PMO for decision making and action

Actively participates as a member of the PMO Practice Team:

  • Attending Practice team meetings
  • Weekly completion of time sheets and submission of expenses
  • Pro-actively share knowledge, skills and experiences with colleagues
  • Drive own professional development
  • Promote and support the team in communicating/participating in key projects
  • What does success look like?
  • Being able to run more complex projects, technology, multi-practice, demanding client. Support junior members of PMO. Attend tender and Sales presentations. Contribute to SOW creating and review muti-practice deals.
  • Overall responsible of the implementation and management of projects sold to customers. Delivery of projects within agreed budget and scope.
  • Contribution to the business (direct or indirect)
  • The PM role contributes to general customer satisfaction via the delivery of successful projects that achieves the customers desired outcomes.
  • The PM role will enable the delivery of multiple projects for Logicalis. Ensure that communication is frequent and stakeholders within the organisation have the required level of visibility.
  • The PM is expected to make commercially sound recommendations and decisions.
  • Successful management of Project budgets directly impacts the gross margin performance of Transformation services

What You’ll Bring:

Essential

  • 2 or more years of project management experience in an IT services or systems integrator environment
  • Proven delivery of complex technology projects across areas such as data centre, cloud, modern workplace or networking
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and to work in a fast paced environment
  • Solid grasp of project management frameworks and tools, including scheduling, budgeting, risk and change control

Desirable

  • Relevant degree or diploma in business, information technology or project management
  • Industry certifications, for example PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent
  • Understanding of the sales cycle within a services organisation
